Counter Version
Flow Meter SSD01–FM It is a programmable device designed for instant flow-rate measuring, particularly useful in control systems. It
can correct pulses transmitted from flow-rate transducers, display amounts of dosed product and provide an outbound signal, either
in voltage or in current, which is directly proportional to the flow rate.
Functioning
Once data is entered, an output current of 4 mA (or 0 V) is generated by the system. When the preset maximum flow rate is reached,
the full-range output current of 20 mA (or 10 V) is generated.
The amount of fluid flowing through the hydraulic system is displayed in liters.

Function/mode settings
- MODE 1: press the PROGRAM button until the ”Programming” LED lights up. Enter the desired
pulses-per-liter ratio (percent) by pressing the PRESET button.
E.g.: For a flow meter set at 19.2 pulses per liter, the coefficient K is found as follows: K = 1/19.2x100 = 5.208%. This figure is to be rounded up to the next decimal position, i.e. 5.21% and entered by pressing PRESET until the number 521 is displayed. Press PROGRAM to confirm (the LED goes off). - MODE 2: press the PROGRAM button until the ”Programming” LED blinks. Enter the maximum flow rate as required by pressing PRESET until the corresponding figure is displayed (e.g.: for 100 liters per minute, ”100” must be displayed). To confirm, press and hold down the PROGRAM button until the LED turns off. The system is now ready to operate.
Counter and Prescaler Version
A low-cost, 9-digit counter which can be employed in several applications as flow-meter interface or as a piece-counter. It comes with a one-year-lifetime battery.

Settings
Press both the PROGRAM and PRESET buttons until the LED lights up. Enter the correction coefficient by pressing PRESET as the displayed figure increases (e.g. for a 25.6% coefficient, 256 must be displayed). Press and hold down PROGRAM until the LED goes off. System is now ready to operate.
